Intro to CSS Camp

Course Description

 

One of the fastest-growing careers in the United States of America (USA) is a web designer. Web designers design and create websites. In May 2019, the median annual salary for all workers in the USA was $39,810. For web designers, the pay is almost twice as much at  $73,760 a year!  There's even better news.  The  10-year occupational outlook for web designers is excellent at 13%, which is nearly three times as fast as all occupations in the USA. At about the same time, the current pre-teens of 2020 will be of age to graduate college.

To build interest in the career as a web designer, EdTech, LLC, created a series of bi-weekly web design courses. The first was  Intro to HTML (Hypertext Markup Language,)  which is the foundational language for developing websites. The second course entitled Intro to CSS,  Cascading Style Sheets)  will take place on Zoom from August 17 to August 21, 2020, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, for children ages ten and up.  Throughout the week, the students will simulate the building enhanced HTML websites with CSS. There will be a brief review of the HTML fundamentals so that new students may enroll at any point before the first day of class.  Register today as space is limited to 6 children for only $99 via CashApp, Venmo, or Zelle.
